TaiLi Electric VS1-24 withdrawable vacuum circuit breaker (hereafter “this breaker”) is a 24kV, three-phase, 50Hz indoor switchgear device. Unlike 12kV products, 24kV systems demand higher insulation levels, creepage distances, and phase spacing. This breaker adopts enlarged solid-insulated poles and optimised electric field design, achieving safe and reliable switching within 1000mm cabinets. TaiLi Electric VS1-24 is widely used in wind farm step-up stations, PV collector substations, medium-sized substations, and frequent-operation industrial sites.

  • Enhanced Solid-Insulated Poles for 24kV Class – The vacuum interrupters and main circuits are fully encapsulated in high-purity epoxy, with creepage distance ≥480mm and phase spacing of 210mm (or 250mm for high-current versions), ensuring stable performance even in polluted or humid environments.
  • Integrated Spring Operating Mechanism– Equipped with a high-reliability spring mechanism, supporting both motor and manual charging, with optimised opening/closing speeds for 24kV system recovery voltage characteristics.
  • Designed for 1000mm Withdrawable Cabinets– Precision-guided truck mechanism ensures smooth insertion/withdrawal and full interchangeability, simplifying maintenance and spare parts management.
  • Reliable Electrical & Mechanical Interlocks– Prevents truck movement under load, includes anti-pumping and undervoltage lockout functions for enhanced safety.
  • Long Life, Low Maintenance– Mechanical endurance ≥20,000 operations, suitable for frequent daily switching. Solid-insulated poles eliminate regular cleaning and anti-pollution treatment.

FAQ


Q1: Can it be used above 1000m altitude?

A: Yes, but insulation levels must be corrected (approx. +8%~13% per 1000m). We reserve insulation margin and can customise upon providing altitude details.



Q2: Is it suitable for frequent switching (e.g., 5 times/day)?

A: Absolutely. Standard mechanical life is 20,000 operations, ideal for daily PV/wind switching. Upgraded mechanisms for 60,000 or 100,000 operations are also available.



Q3: Why must the cabinet be 1000mm wide?

A: 24kV requires larger creepage and clearance distances. An 800mm cabinet cannot ensure safe insulation and is not type-tested. Using non-standard widths poses serious safety risks.



Q4: Can it be remotely operated via motorised truck?

A: Yes. We offer motorised truck options with local/remote control and IEC 61850 integration for unmanned substations.
