Core advantages of 3D wound core oil-immersed transformer:
● Energy-saving and efficient: The magnetic circuit is completely symmetrical, without the seams of traditional
laminated sheets, resulting in a significant reduction in magnetic resistance. The no-load loss and no-load current
are approximately 20% - 40% lower than those of traditional laminated iron cores.
● Low noise: The iron core is a solid and compact unit, without the magnetic-induced expansion noise at the seams,
and the triangular structure is stable, with little vibration. The operating noise can be reduced by 10 - 20
decibels.
● Strong short-circuit resistance: The triangular three-dimensional structure is mechanically very stable. The three
core columns support each other, effectively resisting the huge electrodynamic force generated by short-circuit
current.
● Material saving: The iron core is lightweight, uses less material, and due to its compact size, the amount of
transformer oil is also reduced accordingly.
