1. Power collection and distribution

2. Grid connection point

3. Comprehensive protection functions
· Overload and short-circuit protection: Use circuit breakers to prevent excessive current from damaging equipment
or causing fires.
· Anti-reverse current protection (as needed): When the power generation exceeds the load electricity consumption,
prevent the power from being fed back to the upper-level transformer (in some applications it is prohibited).
· Anti-islanding effect protection: This is the core safety function of the grid-connected system. When the grid is
powered off, it is necessary to quickly disconnect the photovoltaic system from the grid to prevent the photovoltaic
power from being transmitted to the power-off lines, endangering the safety of power grid maintenance personnel.
Although the inverter itself has this function, the distribution cabinet is usually used as a backup protection.
· Over/under voltage, over/under frequency protection: Monitor grid parameters. Once an anomaly is detected, act
immediately to protect equipment and the grid.
· Surge protection: Prevent overvoltage shocks such as lightning strikes from damaging expensive inverters and other
equipment.
4. Monitoring and metering
· Smart meters: Install bidirectional meters to accurately measure the power generated by photovoltaics, the power
fed into the grid, and the power drawn from the grid. These are the basis for electricity bill settlement.
· Monitoring devices: Monitor parameters such as voltage, current, power, power generation, power factor in real
time through current/voltage transformers, power meters, etc.
5. Switching and control
· Provide disconnect switches, contactors, etc., to facilitate manual or automatic connection and disconnection
