1. Environmental impact of SF6 gas: SF6 is a clearly defined potent greenhouse gas under the Kyoto Protocol. Its global warming potential (GWP) is 23,900 times that of CO₂. Therefore, at the final disposal stage of the equipment's life cycle, professional recovery devices must be used to recover and purify the gas, and direct discharge into the atmosphere is strictly prohibited.
2. Complex fault repair: In case of internal faults, professional equipment, technology, and personnel are required to carry out processes such as gas recovery, vacuum pumping, and gas filling. The repair process is more complex than that of air-insulated switch cabinets of the same voltage level, and high skills are required for the personnel.
